MAD Coatings Pricing
Please note: The pricing below is RETAIL pricing. Trade enquiries are welcome and volume-based trade discounts are available to resellers.
For customers interested in doing car trim prices, when our upgraded website is completed we will have a price list of dashes and trims for a range of the most popular cars on the market. Because of the huge number of car models in Australia, and the wide variety of trim and panels in each make and each year model, it would be impossible for us to list a complete and exhaustive price list.
For all customers who want to coat boat pieces and other non-car pieces, or car pieces which don't appear on our price list, we have tried to give you enough information below to estimate what your piece(s) would cost. Or save yourself the bother and phone us at (07) 3821 7260 or email us at info@mad-coatings.com for an accurate quote now!
The cost of our work depends upon the size and the complexity of the piece being MAD Coated, and also depends upon the quantity of pieces that we do in a batch. To allow you to guesstimate what your piece would cost, we will use a VT Dash and console (pictured below) as an example of pricing...
So for example, if you gave us the dash section (of the VT Commodore pieces pictured above) to coat, we would charge you $350 ex GST and if you gave us the console section alone to coat, we would charge you $175 ex GST, but if you gave us both pieces to coat, we would only charge you $450 ex GST for the two pieces. Similarly, if you were to order ten sets of dash and console instead of one, we would be able to offer you a generous volume discount.
Two other factors affect pricing:
1. The number of pieces - for example, if the above dash and console were broken up into four pieces instead of two, we would charge and extra $60 ex GST ($30 for each extra 'dip').
2. The condition of the piece that we are coating - this process looks vastly better on a smooth surface than it does on a textured surface - particularly if you want a glossy finish. If your pieces have a texture to them which would require smooting, there is an additional charge to get rid of that texture. This cost would be in the region of an extra $75 if the two pieces pictured above required removal of texture. Also, if your piece is covered with an excessive amount of silicone or grease, we would charge $25 extra to clean the piece first.
We truly believe that whatever you pay to have your item coated is worth double to you in the increased value of that item.
